Michael Barone is one of America’s foremost political historians and commentators. A senior writer at U.S. News & World Report and a regular panelist on The McLaughlin Group, he has for the past thirty years served as coauthor of the biannual Almanac of American Politics. He is also the author of Our Country: The Shaping of America from Roosevelt to Reagan.
