Caspar Weinberger has served in Cabinet positions for three presidents, including seven years as Secretary of Defense in the Reagan Administration. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School. During the Second World War, he served with the 41st Infantry Division, and later as a member of General Douglas MacArthur's intelligence staff. He has been awarded the Medal of Freedom with Distinction, Hon. Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth, and Grand Cordon of the Order of the Rising Sun from Japan. He is currently chairman of Forbes magazine.
