Do More Than Pay Homage to Our Nation’s Military Heroes—Make Life Better for Their Children
At a military cemetery there are no divisions of politics, rank, color, or gender; just brave souls who sacrificed themselves for the liberty of others. Through beautiful photographs of national cemeteries and poignant essays by such notables as Oliver North, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham, Sacred Ground: A Tribute to America's Veterans pays tribute to those heroic Americans who gave their lives for love of country and freedom for all.
Some of the most stirring quotes and excerpts include:
“It doesn’t take a hero to order men into battle. It takes a hero to be one of those men who goes into battle.”
- Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf
“Their story is known to all of you. It is the story of the American man-at-arms. . . I regarded him then as I regard him now—as one of the world’s noblest figures. . . His name and fame are the birthright of every American citizen. In his youth and strength, his love and loyalty, he gave all that mortality can give.”
- Gen. Douglas MacArthur
This beautiful compilation of evocative photographs, moving quotes, powerful essays, and touching speeches from famous Americans, honors the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice. All of the author royalties from Sacred Ground will be donated to the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund.
