Regnery Publishing Announces Deal With Peanuts Worldwide For All New Peanuts Publishing

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Regnery Publishing, Inc., today announced a five-year licensing deal with Peanuts Worldwide.
Starting with three titles in Fall 2014, Regnery will publish twelve books featuring the familiar and well-loved Peanuts characters. Based on several core themes including American history, American heroes, and American government, the fully illustrated books will feature brand-new stories written for children ages 4-8.
“When we launched our children’s publishing program at Regnery almost three years ago, we wanted to celebrate American history and American heroes in ways that inspire young readers,” said Marji Ross, President and Publisher of Regnery Publishing. “Our new partnership with Peanuts is a wonderful way to pursue that goal. Who better than Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Linus, and the rest of the Peanuts gang to help teach children about what makes America strong, and the lessons we have learned over the past 250 years? We are delighted to be working with such a trusted and beloved brand,” added Ross, “and look forward to publishing books that become great teaching tools—as well as family treasures.”
The Peanuts books will be released under Regnery Publishing’s Little Patriot Press imprint, overseen by Editorial Director Diane Reeves.
